Lately I've noticed stamps everywhere, some with a meaningful message behind them, some not. So I decided to make two based on something that I feel very strongly about. Prejudice against the Romani people (aka Gypsies).
Romani people are today still prosecuted and outcasted and even murdered for the way they choose to live their lives, and it has to stop. It's sickening that this sort of behaviour ever happened, let alone the fact that it still goes on today. Show your support for Romani rights by displaying this stamp on your journal. Draw attention to the subject instead of brushing it back under the carpet. Making people aware is the first step in ridding the world of such behaviour. I got my Associates in the Ninja Arts then my Bachelors in Piracy.
They still prosecute Romane? What the hell, we're human too. Perfectly deserving of all of the same rights as everyone else.
My faith in humanity has dropped drastically just from learning this.
