My copy of my book arrived, and I must say I couldn't be happier with the quality. It's well bound and printed on really good paper, although it's a paperback I can tell this book will last for a long time. The pages are nice and thick with a satin shine, even the littlest hands would have a hard time messing this up! The printing is nicely done too, all the artwork is true to the originals.











I've also been working on sorting myself out a semi professional portfolio. I say "semi" as my proper A1 file is my professional one, but I have this much more managable A4 folio to display my illustrative work to prospective commissioners. I'm pleased with how it's coming along.









I think it's important to show people works in progress if you can, and how things turn from a rough sketch to a completed illustration. It's something I certainly always enjoy seeing.
